GREDDY oil catch can

yeah i usally go with the DIY approach but RN2NVS hooked me up with an INCREDIBLE deal on this part and i though i was planning on making one my self i couldn't resist for the price.

the indicator is such a nice touch on greddy's part as are the JDM hoses that it came with, i can't read em so they must be cool.

it shines and says GReddy!

does it have to do anything else???

just kiddin

the goal of an oil catch can is to help the engine by replacing the pipe that vents the crankcase to the air intake. that pipe allows grimey air to be mixed with your air and fuel and then burns it up in the combustion cycle thus greatly reducing teh polouting that a car causes and also cooling the engine by using the intake's sucktion to pull the hot air off of the head. the catch can allows the suction to pull the air off the engine while cooling that air and catching teh oil and grim in that air to allow for a more effective charge of air and fuel and less dirt build up in the intake. the tube on the side shows you how full it gets with oil over time so you can dispose of it properly with out having it go through the intake, engine and exhaust. assuming that your engine is like mine and woudl burn some oil and vent alot it's a great mod and would feel great to pour out a cup of oil while knowing that it didnt mess up your car.

install only took 10 minutes a few bolts and a few zip ties... as for price they are avalible from greddy directly for 104 USD + shipping and handeling. and there are two options for style... the Super Light style and the Traditional style (i have the Traditional)

yeha they have and optional mounting plate for 5 bucks..you can basicaly put them anywhere you can fit them but the closer to the intake and valve cover outlet the better....the greddy can all go horizantal or vertical..all you need to do is setu the visual aid to help you.

awesome thanks for the info Martin...I will take a pic of my engine bay with the intake and if you could let me know a general area that you think it would fit nicely it would be appreciated!
