Re: New..and wanting list of mods...
truthfully, not many that would make any significant difference. i assume you included headers in your idea of exhaust system mods.

Re: New..and wanting list of mods...
what do you own a GT or GT-S? A PowerFC/Emanage would be your best bet for the GT-S since you could lower your lift point, and remap the ecu to your liking (or dependant on what modification you have...i/e/h etc).
Other than that....nothing else will get you going much quicker.

Re: New..and wanting list of mods...
there is no answer for your question. people expect that the days of the honda civic simply being uncorked wouldn't end but most of the cars that were sold as sports compacts after 1999 were given significanty well chosen parts directly from the factory..... if you want power you need a power adder of some sort and short of turbo, nitrous, supercharging or playing with internals i don't see that happening on 7thgens at all.

Re: New..and wanting list of mods...
GT-S....thanks guys, I have a couple of friends that are taking auto diesel for their majors, and one of them said that they can get 30-50% off anything from NAPA and Autozone through the school. I'm keeping it as a daily driver, but planning on giving it some kind of upgrade, and if money permits a turbo. Which brings me to another question, would turbos do fine for daily driving?

Just keep the boost at a moderate level, and have it tuned properly. Choose a quality kit (i.e. C2, Hass, Greddy) and you will be golden. Just remember though, as soon as you start with a FI car you really should have a secondary source of transportation. Not to say that it can't be reliable but realistically you are going to have it in the shop quite a bit more than it normally would be. Best of luck in whatever you decide.
