Head Lights?

ne one ever paint the housing on there heads lights if so i heard that it is goood to put the head lights in the oven until the bonding becomes loose and sloppy and then to pull them apart and proceed is this true....if not does ne one know the proceedures

the glue will never be loose and sloppy, even if you put it in the oven, you will still need to use a butterknife or somethin' to pry it open. The oven is used to soften the glue a little bit so that you can actually pry it open. set the oven to 350F and then turn it off, then you can put the headlights in there with a towel underneath. leave it in for about 15 minutes then take it out and start prying. gl with it.

when you put them back together though make shure they are sealed tight....if not within a few months humidity will find a way in.
