Is it my shocks/struts for sure?

I replaced my springs (bought from Frankie) back a few years ago, they were the ebachs with a moderate lowering. Now I'm starting to feel the bumps more and I'm thinking the shocks/struts might be going out. Is it possible it could also just be the springs?

Re: Is it my shocks/struts for sure?

The springs are stiffer so obviously the ride is going to be rougher, if they seem to be even rougher than they were wheny ou first put them on then yes I would say you need new struts.

Re: Is it my shocks/struts for sure?

It wouldn't be the springs. You're stock struts are shot. Get a set of KYB AGX's and you will be golden (assuming you bought the Eibach Prokit and not the Sportlines which are much lower, and would require KONI Yellow's).

Re: Is it my shocks/struts for sure?

Yeah, I have the pro-kit, any alternatives to "adjustable" shocks?
Will the KYB GR-2's work?
How about the Tokico HP Series on element's site?

I don't want to spend extra $$ on something I won't use

Re: Is it my shocks/struts for sure?

with the prokit almost any of the KYB or Tokico will do. Prokit is the most subtle drop.

Re: Is it my shocks/struts for sure?

don't think so ya cause i have a 90 celica GT-S and i bought intrax springs and KYB shocks, and it just don't feel the way i wanted it to feel. my friend has a honda accord and he also put about the same parts in his car, and it feels like you are on the ocean, it feels great.
But my celica is just the oposit of that. Don't know why man, the only differrence is that it made my celi look lower.
