turbo??

ok i found this turbo kit. well some of the kit on ebay for 683 dollar and w/ shipping be round 750 and i was wondering if it was worth it. The parts i would have to buy is the downpipe, exhaust manifold, and injectors. and would the apexi fc commander programmer be able to tune it right and i know some cars can run a turbo w/o the injectors till it hits a certain psi. Here is a link to the turbo eBay Motors: 00-01 02-03 04-05 CELICA GT/GTS T3/T4 TURBO CHERGER KIT (item 220079987703 end time Feb-13-07 23:17:58 PST)

Re: turbo??

YOu would be better off with this kit. Its actually designed for a GT. A little more but a lot less headaches in the long run. Things you would need to buy that this includes:

NewCelica.org Forum - Gen 1 c2power turbokit 4 sale

widband O2 sensor
Manifold
bigger injectors
Emanage and harness
Boost Controller
Full 2.5 inch exhaust from the downpipe to the rear of the car.

Header has a crack which could be fixed or you could get a new one for $200 extra.

I doubt you could get all that stuff above for the $800 difference. My wideband O2 sensor was $300 alone.

Re: turbo??

I dunno I heard that alot of these JDM type turbo kits are junk. But do what ever fits your budget. It might be cost effective to save up for a name brand kit.
