wht is the widest tire i can put on my generation 7 celica gt

i have 215 right now and i dont noe how much wider i can go before i start to rub

235 probably, anything more and im guessing your steering will be heavy

i ask some ppl with celicas and they say 225 rub when u turn hard and sum say no and i also want to noe if it matters how wide i go in the back because the back wheels dont need to be turned can maybe 235 go back there

i've got 235 and no rubbing unless i'm doing a full turn then there's minimal rubbing.

it depends on your drop but i would stay on 215, and drop to 205's or 195s for winter

do u have 235 on all 4 is ur springs stock. mine are and i was wondering if 235 will be ok to be used

i'm sitting on adjustable koni yellows with eibach sportlines (1.8f, 2.4r) with 235/40/18 tires on 18x7.5 rims

Yes, i have 235s on all 4. I would suggest getting new shocks/springs before getting 235 tires.

I would suggest 195s for winter...much better traction, 205 is a bit too wide IMO for winter.

i have been driving 195 since i had the car. All i did was purchase good tires. In some cases mine handled alot better than people with 215's. Guess it depends on quality of tires mostly, wider tires are just for "looks" as you say. celica doesnt have the power do back up those width numbers.

tru say. i've noticed a decrease in power when i have my 235s on in the summer.
