First Car Show Jitters
OK, here's a quick review of the past few years. Bought my car in feb. 2005. been at Military Police School for 3 months after that then to Ft. Campbell. Spent 9 months there before I deployed to where I currently am at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. Since I had my car, I have never been to a car show. As a matter of fact, I never even attended one as a bistandard. So, now that you know the past. I am askin ya'll for some helpful tips on making my car look extra......good? The Car show I'm attending is on the 24th of February in Baton Rouge, LA. If you would like to look at the car. Go to www.myspace.com/koolness_tweaked That is my profile for my car. Thanks alot ya'll. Much Appreciated!!

Re: First Car Show Jitters
Clay bar it and a really good wax before the show. Unless you plan to do more things to it before then, just focus on it looking like glass.

Re: First Car Show Jitters
Yea, I plan on putting a VeilSide II Full body kit, F-1 Fenders and clear Corners on it, I also have to put on my red underbody neon kit, and paint my break calipers red. Then I'm taking it to get the entire car re-painted white. But I heard about the clay bar and have yet to try it. What type of Wax would be the best? Meguiars? I bought some "Fuken Wax" about a year ago and the stuff works great! But I'm looking for a paste.

- armoral (so type of cleaner like that) your wheel wells. Make them clean and shiney
- clay bar and a nice 3 step wax job, mequiars nxt wax is supposed to be very good, also do a spray wax just before the show, it will give a little extra shine and silky feeling - clean interior and engine bay excellent website for car detailing Autopia.org - The Car Detailing & Appearance Authority for All Car Enthusiasts.
