Stuttering

Hey guys,
I have a 2003 Celica and sometime when i am standing at a stop light or something my car begins to stutter and kind of shake. can anyone give me suggestions on what it the problem could be. I doubt its the injectors cause i had those changed. please help me out.

Re: Stuttering

It's your Mass Airflow Sensor. you will find it attached to your throttle intake tube.

There are little pin like sensors when you look at it. Take some rubbing alcohol and a qtip and gently rub the dirt off.

I would disconnect your battery during this, and wait maybe a half hour before reconnecting. It will reset your engine ECU.

This should take care of the problem.

Re: Stuttering

Just put regular 87 in it. There is no need to put anything higher.

Sal was most likely asking if you had a GT-S and perhaps were not putting premium in it. This would cause an erratic idle as well.
