e-brake loose!

hey I need some help. I'm new to this forum. I have a 2000 celica GT and the e-brake to may car is very loose. Not so loose to where I would rool down a hill but pretty close. Can anyone tell me how to tighten it up? Sorry if I didn't look in the right place. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Re: e-brake loose!

I had brakes done and other mechanic upgrades for the motor, so they just adjusted it.

Otherwise i believe it costs 15-20 bucks to get that done, when you go for oil change etc, let them know they might just do it at no cost.

Besides its a safety issue, they should be able to adjust it, i believe its covered under warranty as well. I could be wrong.

Re: e-brake loose!

You can adjust it. See page BR8 in the 2nd volume of the repair manual.
