trunk struts
('00 GT) Ok, so when i lift my trunk up... It falls back down. I'm pretty sure it's the drunk sluts... i mean... trunk struts, but is there a way I can fix them, or what's a good site to buy them?

Re: trunk struts
Blah, :-) I have the same issue and same year car. It is worse when it gets cold. I don't know of any quick fix for this other than replacement. Not sure on cost, but it is getting close to costing me surgery $ as I keep rapping my head on the hatch locking thingy. Cheers.

Re: trunk struts
hey blah..
what did you end up paying? I just got a quote from Wietzes Toyota to get my hatch struts replaced on my 02 and after taxes it would have been $550 for the 2 struts, and labour. Seems really steep. They also said they'res no aftermarket option available... Am I getting hosed? |
