LUCAS oil additive may help hide the problem!

I tried one of those snake oil formulas. No change whatsoever.

I did have some success using Seafoam through the oil, fuel and vacuum system, but it only quelled the consumption for a few hundred miles.

I just don't know what to do when I sell this car...I suppose the right thing to do would be to explain the problem.
