2004 Celica GT What gives the most BANG for the buck?

I just bought this, aside from getting new rims, I am wondering that the best mods are to increase HP without getting really heavy into the engine work. I already have a CAI. Just trying to think of what to do next.

Find a hilly road, and only drive downhill.

Well, thanks for the replies! But I was being serious. Nitrous is out of the question. I was talking more about pullies, header, etc... also, is there a TRD exaust that doesn't sound like a pissed off weedwacker?

Intake, exhaust, header are probably easiest, and cheapest in that order.

I have an HKS exhaust, and it is nice and quiet.

I've heard many different opinions on things like pulleys, etc. Personally, my feeling is that since basic bolt-on's don't really offer all that much power on a Celica, pullies aren't worth the risk/reward. I/H/E are pretty safe though. I've heard talk of things like grounding kits and all that, but I can't speak to them - some of the other guys here can likely give you better advice.

meh...header is nothing if you arent going to do the intake and the exhaust as well. It depends what you are looking for.

Are you into making your car faster? better handling?

Faster - (not that I would do it, but you did say best bang for the buck) I would say nitrous.

Handling - sway and strut bars

lots of "header" suggestions, although a header is not always cheap
the DC header seems pretty affordable while the Trial header will cost you a mint

the CAI & exhaust combination is pretty common
i have a TRD exhaust and like the sound, pretty much a personal taste i guess

i havent done anything to my engine yet for several reasons
1) engine mods usually flush ur warranty pretty quick
2) this typa stuff can get pricey pretty fast and can force you into getting more and more parts (e.g. cant just buy a turbo without chnaging other components)
3) grant's experiences have done very little to encourage me to fuk around under the hood

suspension is a great mod, will make u wanna kick ur celica like a madman around curves; a nice set-up costs $$$ though

off the top of my head

Injen RD cold air intake$220 (people say that tpr is better)feedback?

eibach pro-kit$225

aem pulleys$77

apr front strut bar $110

www.everythingcelica.com

aem C2DI $297
cheapest i found anywhere (thats the vest 300 u can spend)

along with suspension
its always fun turnin heads when driftin!!!!!!!!!!

and get a local guy that u can pay a few hundred to install t4 like me

thats my next mod along with some more suspension

headers dont add much but the best i know from dyno ive seen is the DC headers
TPR is comin out with some though i think theyll be better

if you don't want to pay for a header since it is quiet expensive. port your stock header, it gives great results, and its FREE!!

Dude if you want an exaust that looks meaner thatn hell but doesn't sound like an angry bumble bee then go with the EVO 2. I have it on my 00' gts and it has a low rumble even at high speeds.
