neither both have been proven not to make any power do yourself a favor take off your stock header and get a dremmel and round everything off you wouldnt belive the shitty wellds in there restriccting flow and then go to the collector side and do the same it make a world of difference, 3-5 hp and the sound is deeper not buzzy like you will get with an aftermarket steel tube...

I would not recommend doing this. Because if you don't get everything exactly the same you will have uneven exhaust pressures. And this can put great stress on your crank. If you don't want to take my word for it, call any reliable engine shop and will tell you the same thing.

I also know that it can cause valve lash, stretched valve springs, valve shutter. I have seen someone use a die-grinder to do the same thing and it caused a lot of damage. I have been working on engines for about 10 years now, that includes internal mods, completely stripping and rebuilding. So I say I know my stuff when it comes to engines.

oh dam have you ever had experience with doing this? because all that is done is rounding off the edges that are sharp and restrict flow so basically its making everything flush nothing drastic

Yes I do have experience with stuff like this, I worked in an engine shop throughout high school and for a year after. It doesn't need to be drastic to cause severe damage, but hey if you want to be a retard and risk thousands of dollars in damages go ahead.

Get your stock headers ported by someone who knows how to port. Go to newcelica.org, and pm Boosted2.0. Hes very experienced in porting celica headers and has cheap prices (Around $200 for GT-S)

Doing port jobs free-hand is not accurate enough for something concerning exhaust flow, unless the guy has instruments, and mathematical knowledge. A mill machine or lathe would do the job.
