I did it. There's nothing to it, it's pretty simple. For the back part of the seats just unscrew a few bolts and you're good to go. As for the bottom part of the seat, it's just a clip at the front of the seat (you gotta pull hard on it to unclip it).
You can do a custom sub enclosure with the space. I've seen in done before and it looks pretty nice.
