Drivebelt Tuneup

ok so i might not be the best mechanic, but seriously?
i've done them on other peoples cars but it's been a while since i did my tune up and the haynes manual didn't specify how to remove the compressor belt. took me all of 4 hours to figure out and remove the drive to alt and drive to power steering without breaking anything. 2 of 3 done, wtf is wrong with the compressor? there are 3 pulleys holding the belt: a large one from the drive, a large one from the compressor, and a little one doing nothing. well, i can't move the cam pulley. and the belt couldn't be so complicated as to remove/adjust a compressor with a pressurized ac system. so i loosen the bolt on the top of the small pulley; nothing. i fully remove the bolt; nothing. i tap on it and wiggle it around with my hand; nothing. WD40; nothing. its mounted to a solid bracket so i can't just pull it to the side like the spring loaded belt tensioners. did i miss something? besides CS presents Best of Amateur Hour? lol

nvm. i got it. i was right to think the little pulley was it. but who would have thought replacing belts would have involved a 3/8 drive handle and the biggest heaviest ratchet head i could find?
