Swap 5sfe to 3sge

I plan on swapping out my 5sfe engine for a 2nd or 3rd generation 3sge. I chose this motor because I do not want the nightmare of plumbing a turbo out and changing my exhaust dramatically. So besides the ecu and wiring is there any other headaches I should be aware of like the header, oil pan, clutch, flywheel and so forth?

I have the same thing in mind. That or a 4AGE. I was about to ask for the same question...

there is not much difference between swapping in the 3sgte or a 3sge, and u can just run your stock exuast when running a 3sgte but its a little restrictive. Wiring is the same, with either motor you go with, make sure u have the ecu & wiring harness.

You drive a 1.6???? if not then thats simply more of a headache

^Yea he'll fly because of small front brake, rear drum, no sway bar etc.

can get an aftermarket sway bar, rear drum to disk break conversion, front break conversion, I mean if your changing the rears you would be going to 5 bolt, so do the same to the front.

Beams would be a wiring nightmare.
