Buy a GT-4, save yourself the hassles, and spend the extra time working to make money to buy good tires to transfer the power to the floor.

Budget $5k for a 3gste swap, or just spend $6-8k on a decent All Trac.

I'd get the Alltrac, personally.

apparently you can convert the 6th gen to a gt4 much easier than a 4th or 5th gen as the cut out for the drive shaft is already there. I saw a post about it a while ago....

but the hatch area needs work, fuel tank is in the way or something???

I'd say go GT4.
most 3S swappers are hunting for ways to get more power down, w/ AWD you wont have to worry till later on :p

I dont think there is the same tunnel under the car, because there is a different weight of the two. The gas tank and such are relocated.

The weight could be extra support welded for GT4.
