clear corners, turbo, and funny gas...
first off, i own a '98 celica gt 2.2L....
does anyone know where i can find clear corners (a site that actually works and has them for my car) and whether or not i should hook up with nitrous then turbo, or turbo then nitrous.

Its only cheaper until repair costs come around. The 2.2L is a higher compression motor, slap on a turbo, your going to fry piston rings, as well as internal damage thats gonna cost more than the turbo setup. Forget the Nitrous, rebuild the internals, get a machine shop to make you a second head gasket to lower the compression, and you should be safe. Do a lot of homework, because expected numbers, and what you get are two different things. Plus once its Turbo, theres lots of tuning needed to run properly.
Good luck

Re: clear corners, turbo, and funny gas...
For the turbo your going to need downpipe, intercooler if needed and piping to reach the intercooler end back if you want to you can also get a blow off valve, but for the boost your going to run its not needed. If you keep the system under 8 psi ther should be no problems go higher than that and you'll be picking rods off the ground. You can expect around 180 to 200 hp at 8psi.

Re: clear corners, turbo, and funny gas...
with the boost he will run it's not needed?.... how does the air measuring system and air intake temperatures being effected by the turbo not dictate a plan to equalize them?

I think he was talking about not needing a BOV (the grammar was misleading)
You probably should get a bypass valve, like one from an MR2 and rather than slapping on multiple headgaskets, just get a thicker one... and make sure it's metal and probably a good idea to bolt it down with ARP bolts oh, and don't forget the fuel system... upgrade that too you sure you dont want to just swap out the 5sfe? you might even save a few bucks.. I usually dont suggest engine swaps, but since you're looking to turbo and N20 your car- I think you might want a stronger block

Re: clear corners, turbo, and funny gas...
I worded it that way because some people dont have millions of dollars to spend. And there is plenty of kits that dont sell intercoolers or blow off valves yet work perfectly fine, past 8 psi and you get compressor surge. Also for mOdd3dl I wouldnt put nitrous on a turbocharged vehicle unless it was built to take that abuse.
