Engine Temp sensor ???

Could anyone tell me where the engine temp sensor is as my 1994 2.0 gt is using loads of fuel and is running rich. Is it a easy job to change?

Its on the water neck. Check the Oxygen sensor and EGR system also. Ignition may need attention too.
