help : automatic 3sgte ...
hi, i have a 95 gts automatic transm. , i dont know much about mechanics and i need to know if its possible to put a 3sgte+needed parts and fit it with my automatic transmission.... thx

yeah. using an A/T ecu with a manual tranny is do-able because you can just trick the ecu into thinking that the shift solenoids are there with resistors. however, with a M/T ecu it's just not capable of controlling the shift points and all the other complicated shit that goes with the auto trannys.

In his case then he'd probably be better off going for a 5sfte then just to avoid the ECU issue

Might be a question that is obvious to you but...cant u use a tuned 5sfe auto ECU, like go to a shop and tune it to your likingf tuning will cost like 4-500 bucks).
