steering rack problem

Hi there!

I just got my first toyota celica, and I know this is the best place to ask.

1994 2.0i twin cam fwd, left handed

My steering box/rack leaks oil. I was wondering if the rack from other celicas would match. I'm talking about 5th gen, or other cc model (like a 1.8 L). since I can't afford a new one at this time, I must search for second hand one. and I only found a 2.0 1996 celica rack but is right handed and a 1.6 1994 celica 5th gen rack.

Please give me some hints or advice.

Any celica that has the came engine and generation should work. Since you have a 6th generation GT, try looking for a 1994-1999 GT with the 2.0L engine that you have. Over here in the US the GT has the 2.2L engine, but i am not as fimiliar with engines in other countries.
