Re: HID lights

What is the Built-in bulb-out warning cancellation circuitry...do you need that when you get a hid kit?

Re: HID lights

what that is, is that on some cars when a bulb goes out it sets off a warning on the dash usually high end cars have that. i have never had to use a canceller. what i will tell you is to not run hid bulbs in a drl bulbs place. it can cause the hid bulb to flash due to low wattage. and hids are not really needed for high beam, a stronger halogen with a heavy duty harness would be better for highs

Re: HID lights

akley is correct. on mine, i just used a heavier duty nonballast hid bulb and it was fine. i am currently in the process of changing my head lights around to where i have quad lights @ night. this way i am definitely the only one where i am with that mod. Just becareful not to put an underpowered bulb into the system. it will pop on you. i found out the hard way when i put the wrong wattage in and it blew up on me as soon as i turn the lights on for the first time. lol..... oops!
