Hey Subspec! Can I bother you to check some stuff for me ???
I just need a hood emblem and the two small knobs to the very right next to each other for (balance/fade bass/treb i think) the stock tape player :) I just have knobless nubs there now.

Yes yes, but I'm over budget, so I'm keeping the tape player for now. Plus nothing is more awesome than a cassette adapter dangling out of your tape player.

Thanks, but the shipping will make it not worth it really. The one I have works. Some kids took the buttons I think. All kinds of little clues that kids were all over this thing! If I have to I'll make some knobs.

Re: 1996 Toyota Celica ST 25th. Anniversary Edition

Sup guys, no updates today.

Ugh, having a hard time finding a radiator for a decent price. I'm about to just buy the rad at AutoZone for $245 with life-time warrenty. Kinda costy but at least I have a chance to replace it whenever it goes wrong again.

25thCelica let me know the price and shipping, might be interested in buying it off of you now. PM me about the whole combo price when you get the chance.

Re: 1996 Toyota Celica ST 25th. Anniversary Edition

Hey Guys,

Sorry that I havent posted anything but like I said no computer, but anyway you haven't missed out on anything. Umm...I ordered my Radiator and will be picking it up tomorrow for $155 and 1year warrenty not bad eh? Also picked up a new battery that I will also pick up tomorrow. Pic's tomorrow, and guys know any website for bodykits? Not really into them but if I could find one that looks close to OEM I will end up buying since it's hard for me to get my hands on a GT4 front.

I need opinons on this one. Should I or should I not leave the hubcaps on? I kinda like how they look but I think maybe it will look better without the caps? Well maybe

If you like the way they look leave them on. It's your car. Nothing wrong with hubcaps. I'm sporting them too.

Re: 1996 Toyota Celica ST 25th. Anniversary Edition

Thanks might leave them on or paint them another olor don't know yet, well I have my radiator as of yesterday forgot to take pics. Frame is bent right in the front on the passenger side where the rad goes so now I have to hammer at it to straighten it a bit.

Found a great deal on the steering wheel and airbag on 6gc.net but I made an account an I never got the email to certify it so I can't PM or even comment him so I'm pretty much depending on other members on that forum to pm him but have had no luck.

Here's the link to the steering wheel

Re: 1996 Toyota Celica ST 25th. Anniversary Edition

Lol, a Gold DieHard my dad picked up for me at the JY and got hustled out of my money. It worked just fine at first, but then the next day dead. I took it to AutoZone to have them charge it, left it there over night, first thing in the morning picked it up, and it still couldn't hold charge. So I was out $20. What I get for letting my dad do the shopping.

Today I'm going to trade it at AutoZone, so I get a discount on a new battery basically the same one but new. $58.85

I wanted to get the battery that I think is called Optimum it looks like a 6pack of beer, supposedly it's one of the top brands. But a bit expensive for just a battery.

Question; guys know if it's possible to replace all the metal behind the bumper like the metal that holds the rad in place and such? Like just the front part , because rather then pay all that money to have it straighten I figured I just buy it off someone who's parting out a celi.

Yeah optimum redtops are nice. I personaly have one and love it. What I would do about the metal is just bang it back to place. Just use alittle gentile purwation as we call it lol

Re: 1996 Toyota Celica ST 25th. Anniversary Edition

lol, I've done my best straightening it now I just gotta beat it with a hammer. Just wanted to see if it was possible to change the front cause umm..lol I want my car to be clean inside and out . But I'll see how much I can fix.

And what's so great about these battery's? Does the car like turn on as soon ass the key goes in lol? I really have no clue why so many people use them being that they're so expensive.

Re: 1996 Toyota Celica ST 25th. Anniversary Edition

Redtops have more amps and cranking power. Usualy last along time and are verry rugged.. I've had mine for 4 years and car starts up in a sec after turning the key. Lol when I first installed the battery you could hear the ac fan spin like a jet engine its funny
