Re: Question on Motors swap

3sgte is the most common swap. and usualy is the easiest to do.. it bolts right in and the motor is reasonably cheap. 1000 bucks to 2000 for a used jdm motor

Re: Question on Motors swap

Well that completely depends on the motor in your car. Is it a 1.6 or a 2.2L?
You should really do a very quick search as this topic has been covered every 2 weeks for the past 5+ years.

Anything can be swapped in with the right budget but as Subspec was saying the most common is the 3sgte. Its direct bolt on for 2.2L Motors. If your a 1.6L motor you can put a 4age or a 4agze.
Another somewhat common swap for celica's is a v6 out of a camry.

Re: Question on Motors swap

Lol locker. I have to agree with you. I've been on this forum for about 2 months and have answered at least 4 posts refering to this topic. Its amazing that people ask this question without doing any type of research. There is a thing called google. It shall answer pretty much any question that you have. And if it doesn't have it then ask these questions on a board like this
