Motor Identification

Hey everyone, Have a question about the motors that came in the gen 6 celica. My car is assigned with the 5sfe motor right from factory. the VIN and the badges say that my motor is the 5sfe. One problem is that my accessory belt, fuel injectors and distributor are completely different than what the image shows in the Haynes book i bought. Is there other identification ways to identify the motor type??? Please let me know. I am really confused on this.

Re: Motor Identification

Does it say 2200 on the intake manifold? If it does then your set. Thats the easist way to tell.

Re: Motor Identification

Hey there, well it does say 2200 on the motor and I used the Haynes book i bought. But the thing is though the hood tells one thing, and the haynes says another. so I am not sure what else to do. I have also used my VIN to look. Any other ideas than tryni to find it on the block?? Let me know. Thanks.
