a/c blows foam

1995 celica convertible which blows a fine styrofoam-type foam,small pieces, that stains clothing, when the a/c fan is turned on. What is going on?

Go get your a/c checked and tell them that your filter is blowing chunks of itself through the vents. They'll replace it for you.

Well I am having the opposite problem. Mine is not blowing cold at all. Yes I have had it checked twice and had it evact/charged twice. Still Nothing. Also, there is no leaks in the system. ????? WHY???

Is it grey in color? It might be the seals that are between each duct.... pretty common on cars over 10yrs old

don't worry about it, this happened to my 95 celica and it quit after about 6 months. just use a high powered vacume to suck it out.
