Bad idea, you can import one in a few years and save yourself the hasle and money. Its do-able but will cost you, and reliability will be a big issue as well.
Do it if you have nothing better to do and the money to do it properly. There have been two successful conversions that I've read about in the states on 6th gen celicas. But then again anything is possible with enough money.

Theres a guy on 6gc.net *all 6th gen celicas* whos willing to do one with all work, labour, engine, parts, etc. for $11K USD

ironic, i came seeking same information.
can you guys post up specfic examples, pics, links to, etc.... not looking so much at the negatives, as i believe most were covered and seem more secondhand, i need first hand knowledge. looked at the 4th gen link, but link on there is down. going to 6gc now. |
