Front Black (carbon fiber?) trim

A couple of weeks ago some lady backed into my car and lucky I saw her coming and started to back up as fast as I could. Unfortunately she still managed to chip off a few pieces of the black trim from the front of the hood. I was wondering if any of you knew a place where I could but this piece. A body shop would charge about $500 to repair this (that was including the cost to buff out the scratches which are unnoticable). Also is this part something that I would be able to replace myself or would it be better just to have the body shop take car of it.

Oh btw on eBay the piece is about $75 with shipping - how hard would it be to install such a piece?

its about 4 screws i think its easy to install... is it the one ON the hood or underneath? cause i have one for underneath and depending where youre located we can meet up if you want

well the one on the hood has a few scratches but the one under the hood (the one that isnt attached to the hood and is right under the lights) has the major damage to it. If you have that piece I'd be really interested in buying it. I live in the states - NJ - here's a pic of the exact damage.

The hood piece is $270 from dealer. The piece below is $80 from dealer. Shouldn't the lady pay for them? You should be able to buff that off yourself.
