JDM 5SFE does it exist?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if there is such a motor as a JDM 5sfe. I thought i read somewhere that there was no 5sfe in japan. Enlighten me on the topic.

Im pretty sure they had the 5sfe in Japan.... i thought the place where i got my motor had a few

i beleive that some camrys in japan came with 5sfe engines so those would be the JDM ones.

yeah the place where you got yours has them. I was just wondering as others said that they didn't exist

they are jdm and they are 5sfe's.... there are no diffrences on them at all from usdm's as none of the 5sfe's were made in north america or modified at the motor for emisions (ecu's and secondary cat's were placed when they got here.)

I think he asking if any japaneese cars came with 5sfe's? Since some say that there are no JDM 5sfe's his question is more related to if a car was produced in Japan using the 5sfe for the Japaneese market

exactly mike....you got it. Also would anyone know if the wiring harnesses would be the same. If 5sfe were only made in japan then this would be true. Can anyone confirm?
