Check you wheels.

Back when I had a '91 Sentra, I had the same problem and it ended up being I was missing lugnuts and my tires were grinding up and shit. My car was allll fucked up.

most likely your idle control valve, where does your car idle when your in park, probably around 400 to 700, where as it should normally be around 1k. does it feel like its stuttering when accelerating.

I was thinking motor mount. If the engine is running fine, its not a missfire or anything..

Its not in the tranny, if it does it in park. But, It could always be the torque converter. Check with your girlfriend if the transmission was replaced. Some guys replace or rebuild transmissions that are blown and leave the original torque converter without inspecting it. When a torque converter overheats, it bubbles up.

A cracked flexplate could also give you vibrations, but it usually comes with funny noises.

If your transmission hasnt overheated, or wasnt replaced etc, its most likely a bad motor mount. If the engine is running fine.

Hope this helps!

I posted a thread previously concearning the same exact problem. The only difference is that my car starts at 2000 rpm, and goes down to like 1400, until it warms up which then it goes to like 1100 and when it gets to like 1100 it starts vibrating the car. And like someone said, when I start driving it, it doesnt do it until i let off the gas.
I would still like to know what it is but I think its just the motor mounts. But I dont have money for that stuff so I gotta drive it as is.

My car has a somewhat similiar problem - it sounds like the car is shaking, but the thing is that the noise is very specific (sounds like it is coming from the glove comparment or the passenger side door). It only happens when the car is on and I am in at a complete stop, though it will make very small noises at times when accelerating or slowing down. Could this actually be dangerous or is it just an annoying noise that would be nice to fix but wont cause any serious harm if left alone.
