problem changing one of my spark plugs...

I was changing my spark plugs tonight and one of the plug ends (that little rubber thing like 1 inch in height that wraps around the plug) came off and is stuck to the plug. This is because there was an oil leak and there is some oil around there which I believe is keeping it stuck. I was told by a friend to use a hanger and hook it out, is this a good idea...I couldnt get it out any other way. PLEASE HELP ME! btw the bosch platinum 4 spark plugs are sick! I felt a huge performance difference with them.

no man they arent garbage at all, it makes electrical sense too, having 4 heads will ensure spark IMO.

Low compression, economy engine like the +4. The 4A-FE breath new life with it, the 5S-FE get a bit too. Don't think any VTec engine like it. Also don't think turbo like too. Small tip and multiple electro means more hot spot for pre-ignition in high CR and boosted engine. If they have different heat plug, it may work in high CR and turbo.

Yes, spark is a possibility, not a certainty. 4 electro means 4 times more chance for spark so you'll get spark at right time.

My oil pressure "knob" was leaking oil pretty bad not to long ago (which was quickly fixed) and my distributor is leaking (which IM getting done this weekend) do you think any of these are the reason I had some oil on one of my plugs?

holy shit.. i havn't been keeping up much lately but i am shocked to hear of the dist and the oil in the spark plug housings

as for the +4's i had them before... personaly i would stay copper and replace them twice as often. you probably arn't noticing a better plug, just a newer one.

Could be spill when filling up. Or plug not tight enough. Or the tube is leaking.
If the disy is leaking on inside, you'll need another disy or seal kit from MR2OC. Its kinda bitch to take the disy apart to change seal.

yeah, from an "engineering" perspective it is rational as piney and I indicated because your are 4x more likely to get the spark you want, so your basically always getting the spark. Basil is a well mannered and honest guy, no problem supporting him. He actually mentioned Ratko with his MR2 and told me how it looked before the paint job he got.
