swap or not?

What up guys. I'm new here from the states. Can't get a real answer from around here. I have search around and found that the tranny out of the v6 camry is an ideal tranny to use in a swap. Now I plan to do a swap but I don't have the funds right now . As of now i have a 90 GTS that is auto. Ineed to swap out trannys due to mine starting to slip. what I want to know is if the v6 camry tranny will bolt up to the 5s and if I need the ecu also? any info will help or clues where i can find out the answer.

So your wanting to do a tranny swap or a motor and tranny swap?
If its just a tranny swap you looking into are you wanting to keep it an automatic or are you wanting to go 5 speed?

The v6 tranny will bolt up fine but if your staying with an automatic be careful and make sure the wiring will line up.

Let us know exactly what your wanting to do and we'll be a lot more help

I'm wanting to convert to manuel tranny from auto. If the auto tranny bolts up the manuel tranny should correct?

DONT SWAP ANYTHING.

BUY A 5spd, trust me, its the easiest thing you can do without having irreversable problems.

I believe as long as you have all of the 5spd parts, and the new motors ecu you should be fine. Do some more reasearch about the swap.
