how long will an AUTOMATIC TRANNY last for???

I am thinking about purchasing a 1990 Celica GTS with 380,000kms. The car is in very good condition, but I am worried that the tranny may die soon, since it is the original tranny!

It's a good question... Mine have 280 000 and it work perfectly. But I don't know if a auto tranny die without any sign before??!?!?

it depends... i woudl say the cooler would increase the life by 1.5

The automatic tranny should last the life of the car if you change the fluid when you're supposed to.
