oil leak

i cant find where my oil leak is coming from. can anybody help me?

get a couple of bottles of engine cleaner. spray it all over the area you think the leak is coming from. Clean it hose it off and let it dry. get the car on jack stands and start it get underneath and watch for the leak.

If you cant find it, how are we going to find it, gotta be a lil more descriptive. What side of the car is it leaking from? How much oil is leaking, is it a lot, or just a slow leak?

Could be anything froman oilpan gasket that needs to be replaced, could be a crack/hole in the actual oilpan, could have a leaky headgasket, etc. More detail is needed to give a better estimation.

Best bet is to bring it to a shop and have them check it out, if its serious like a head gasket, you wanna replace that ASAP.

well i think its either leaking from the head or the bottom of the engine.

So what your saying is that your leak is coming from either the top of the motor or the bottom??????

haha, it will be cheaper to go to the dealer then to pay for the gas to get here from minnisota.

you are gonna have to shampoo to engin bay to figure out where it is coing from, you dont really seem to know. clean it al out, run it for a day or two, then u will be able to see where it is coming from

If he runs it for a day or two the motor is going to be covered with oil again. Clean it put the car on jack stands and get underneath and watch for where the oil is coming from

it shuldnt be that bad after a day unless there is a REAL big problem, he said minor leak didnt he???
