5SFE stock rods vs bad ass Pauter Rods (pics)
Ok well I am still waiting on my Wiseco pistons. I need to double check measurements on the block and old pistons to make sure everything is gravy. Here are pictures of the difference in size and quality of Pauter vs 5sfe stockers. Pauter's look amazing! Not only are they beefier but the steel is aircraft quality and the way they are edged means less resistance through the oil.
Lots of extra strength  More streamlined rod to have less resistance  Side by side comparison. If you look real hard it says 5sfe on the side

Eagles or Pauters are a huge upgrade over stock. I am still waiting on my pistons. Right now I am thinking of upgrading to 88MM Wisecos vs 87MM. Its an extra $150 to bore the block but it would get me in the 2.3lt range. A 5sfe 2.3 would be pretty sick.

Thanks subspec. Looks like we got identical rod bolts. ARP 2000's. These are good for 800whp even though are cars won't ever see that its good to have that insurance especially since stock bolts break off.
