previous 92 GTS owner saying what up? (now driving '06 WRX!)

Yo dudes.

Just wanted to stop in and say this forum was helpful over the years that I owned my '92 Celica (2001-2009)

I miss the car, but can't say I miss it too much, now that I am driving a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX
I've had the WRX for about a year, and although it puts a constant smile on my face have AWD turbo, I still miss specific feel of my good old Celica GTS - even when it was 14 years old, I still felt like I was "wearing it" when I sat in the seat, and it hugged the road.
Had to let it go when we had a kid (needed a back seat and a newer car.)
for my baby and I hope the new owner is giving it love (sold it last year for $2000 with 170,000 kms)

Re: previous 92 GTS owner saying what up? (now driving '06 WRX!)

If I am having fun in the city, I get 350 KMS on a 50 litres of gas (it takes supreme because of the turbo)
If I am taking it easy on the hiway, I can touch 550 kms, but generally don't do better than 500.
It's a fun car but the AWD turbo does suck the gas back (the 2006 is a 2.5 engine).

I'd like to see a celi modded to put out 230 HP and 235 ft/lbs of torque

No pics handy, but it is a stock WRX wagon, classic Subaru WRB colour, (with a pretty dark tint) if you've seen one you've seen 'em all.

pretty much like this one (add a hood scoop and minus the European plate):
