[EDIT] front driver side wheel sounds like an aeroplane. haha
well yesterday I decided to fix this annoying ass sound that my wheel was making since i changed the axle.. it was the lock washer that goes over the axle nut. the nut was tight so there was a little bit of play between the bolt and the cotter pin for the lockwasher to jingle around in, so I losend up the nut like a 1/2 turn so the washer fits in tight without making noise.. so i drove it around the block, seemed fine! later on that day I was driving down Blackstone (a busy ave. here in fresno) and was playing around with this prelude, we started driving hard.. I think I downshifted to 2 and pulled at like 40 mph at one point.. lol so when i pulled onto a small street I notice a rubbing sound (when im jumping on the freeway it sounds like a 1947 fighter plane taking off lol) comming from my driver side wheel, after that i seen that my steering wheel was slightly to the left while my car pulls to the right! so, I THINK, losening the axle nut caused play betwen the axle and bearing, causing my bearing to get shot? and it threw off my car out of alignment? what do You think? Re: front driver wheel sounds like an Airplane..
well, I shoulda got my car aligned after I changed the CV.. it threw my suspension off.. now my driver wheel strut assembly is shot too, thats whats causing my car to pull to the right.. so FYI get alignment after changing stuff out in the front, save time n money....
