Re: 5SGTE build
Yes the autronic has auto tune, it has some pretty complex algorithms it uses for fueling and does a damn good job I might add. Especially in comparison to say the AEM autotune which is garbage.
Don't let the name auto tune make you think that it actually does that though. You still need a qualified tuner to dial these things in. |

Re: 5SGTE build
Yep. Thats what ATS said over the phone. They are very reputable and are tuning my car for both pump gas and e85. The best standalones the one your tuners good with and ATS is one of the best shops around here. I upgraded to 1000cc injectors for e85 and plan on running 400-500whp with ease now.
Klue is right, even with autotune you still need a tuner to do it right. Aaron at ATS told me that the reason autronic you don't hear from anymore is because the company now works on predator drones for the government. Autronic, Motec, and Haltech are some of my choices. I like Motec but its super expensive. Autronic is doable and gives best bang for buck IMHO.

Re: 5SGTE build
Yeah most def. Funny thing my golf was hit by a 98 mustang. It pretty much destroied the front end of the mustang. Only major damage to the golf was a goudged rim. Dented fender and broken turn signal lense. Kinda sucks having a vw parts are expensive. Good thing I have insurance I just gotta pay the deductable. My wife and I are trying to argue the charges. There claiming my wife didn't yeild to oncoming traffic. Not to mention the cops got all the information wrong. So were trying to battle that.
