Jet ecu upgrade

Is it worth $300 after having I/H/E done cuz there's not much else to do other than swap. Half the people say jets got a good, old reputation and many say "they just put a sticker on your ecu." I only want an opinion from a Jet consumer.

Im not sure what they can do with a stock 5sfe in terms of ECU? someone correct me.

Cuz I only have 160k miles on it, I'm gonna wait a few more years before I swap a good, reliable engine out.

send your ecu to me, i will do the same modification they do for 50 bucks, plus i wont put no cheezy sticker on it

Could you just send me a custom chip for $50? I know where to solder it, I just don't know where to find real ecu "performance chips" and don't know how to make em. Appreciate

All they do is soder a programable chip into the ecu and remap diffrent things like fuel and what not. That's why you have to send them your ecu so they can input the programing. And there are mods you can do to the 5sfe. It just takes a lot of time money and energy. To do it properly

Yup I already got a temporary ecu from the yard Im just trying to get some real life facts from people who actually sent theirs cuz I always read that their cars ran the same or worse after the upgrade. I'm assuming they had no mods done to even make a difference, again I got I/H/E.

sure but its 9X21 inches in Neon Pink with a rainbow background that says PRIDE and POWER on it.. .50 cents..

I don't have the Jet Chip but I had the Jet V-Force. I can feel the different on my Corolla. Not much but it's there. Can't really say I can feel anything on my Celica.
I won't do it if you plan to swap the engine out later. Just save your money for the swap and get a programmable ECU for it.
