Speedometer issues

Can someone post a walkthrough on checking the speedometer cables and anything from the back of the cluster down to the transmission and the easiest way of putting it all back together? I am having some troubles on finding out what is wrong with mine and can't figure out how to get the cables and the housing back into the transmission so that they mesh up and work correctly.

Re: Speedometer issues

Well I took out the gauge cluster, unscrewed the upper cable from the lower, can't turn one end if the other is held. I also took off the lower cable, and the same with that one. I took off the housing on top of the housing and same thing with that. When I everything out it turned all the way up, but I can't get it back in so that everything meshes up and work correctly. I can't turn the little bar coming out of the transmission, but can pull it out.
