FOG LIGHTS IN BUMPER! 1990 gts

I have a 1990 celica GTS. I am thinking of cutting holes in the FRONT BUMPER and installing fog lights in there. So the fog lights are flush with the bumper.

How much space is between the bumper and bumper support? Is it possible to do this?

I am planning on putting in 40 watt fogs, will i have issues with it melting the bumper?

There are lots of place to mount fog without cutting. Where are you cutting?

beside the turn signals. Kinda like what martin did on his old celica, but separate from the turn signals?

I wanna keep the big mouth look!

Then take out the signal and look behind it.

after doing some research there is not enough room between the bumper and bumper support. thanks pineapple
