Re: Crank In 5sfe

Oh nice but i dont see why you need a forged one....i dont think you can find one expecailly for this car...this is what i did for my car....i also rebuilt my engine. i did the work to it too... and i spent about a good 1100 for it... now just imagine when someone else is doing the work for you. when i first changed my engine i changed the 5sfe engine to a 3sfe. in other words i went from a 2.2 to a 2.0. why because all the pistons and rods and crank was forged. for some reason doing that my car is much better and faster too... finding that engine was a little hard tho, i live in south texas, i drove to get this engine in houston. now im trying to find a low boost turbo for the engine and other works for it...but not spending too much money on it... i want an all-track instead....FWD is not that great...fun to drive but racing it gets alot of laughs...lol

Re: Crank In 5sfe

Since you're on buget, just reuse the crank.

Re: Crank In 5sfe

You wont break that crank, ever.
people use the stock 5sfe crank in high hp 3sgte rebuilds, so they've been put to the test already.
