Electric Supercharger
hi
i saw an Electric Supercharger on ebay a couple of days ago, and i was wondering if its going to be worth the money, or even work at all. eBay Australia: Electric Supercharger turbo Toyota Celica (item 120049784826, end time 16-Nov-06 06:26:34 AEDST) its a reasonable price, especially if it gets an extra 20hp out of my engine, but is it going to fuck with my engine? its not run off the crankshaft so its not going to put too much pressure on the engine. the installation shouldnt be too hard, just connecting a few wires i assume. what do you guys think. cheers |

Re: Electric Supercharger
just look at it closely and decide for yourself. If you think this could possibly do anything, then by all means spend your money.
You would also be a complete sucker...

Re: Electric Supercharger
Haha, I thought it was funny when I saw one on ebay. Especially when it's being sold so cheap.

Re: Electric Supercharger
The cheap ones you buy off ebay and elsewhere will basically add a little more cfm, but more importantly they will help atomization. You will be increasing your effiency resulting in slight power and fuel economy gains. You will not recieve any 'boost' from these ones.
They do work and you do notice a difference, but not 20hp. Help a buddy install one a little more than a week ago in a little Scoup. If installing one make sure to buy an inline resistor and fuse. |

Re: Electric Supercharger
atomization.... bwhahahhahahahha
sticking your cock in your manifold would be a better mod. the only esc's that work cost 5000+ dollars..... the bilge fan's do nothing and if the fins break off they can fuck your head up and snap valves for nothing... don't be a fool...

Re: Electric Supercharger
they just make out it will turn your motor in2 a supercar!!
its suprsing that people actually spend quite a few quid on these poinless things. its a bit like when they are tryin to sell these chips that are suppose to give 25extra bhp for like £5! |

The motion of the air coming through the fan, as well as the velocity will help increase atomization in the combustion chamber. Whether it actually does this I don't know, but thats what the box said. |
