Vehicle ID Number

where can i find the VIN(Vehicle Id Number) on my st162 celica

is it not in the door jam? or at the bottom corner of the windshield?

is it a metal tag or something?....the car is by the mechanic right now so i cant check to see

it should be a rectangular metal plate in the door jam, and a thinner metal tag at the bottom corner of the windshield.

There is also a tag on the firewall near the drivers side strut tower.
