i recently rebuilt my 87 celi
bored 50 over and i completely rebuilt my heads got all new valves, seals, bead blasted.... the works
i want to keep it na but i dont know many places that sell parts
i want to get high compression pistons maybe a stroker kit
i deff want some new cams
if anyone can help me out on where to get performance upgrades that would be great

Don't stroke it. Try contact JE pistons, I believe they do custom ratio pistons. Webcam got cams. Lighten and balance all internals for high rev. Did you port and polish your head? With multi-angle valve job? Get a custom set of ITB also.

yea head is p&p with valve job

why would you recomend not strokin it?

The 3S-GE is a square engine with balance torque and HP. Stroking will give you torque but reduce your ability to rev. Build the 3S-GE to rev and you'll be happy. Don't build the engine against what it was design for. In fact the 5S-FE is a stroked 3S-GE with a different head.
I'm building NA 5S-FE with 11.0:1 piston. Also trying to decide on cams. I got a set of 20V 4A-GE ITB and will ty to fit it on the 5S.

im majoring in high performance engines at my college so i do all the work myself
havent been goin too long but im already learning way more than i thought i knew
im use to workin on older v8 thats what i grew up around but i bought my celi for 50 dollars rebuilt it and i love that car

how much horsepower do you think a na 3s can put out

A race 1.6L 4A-GE (Formula Atlantic) put out 240HP.
So I'll say around 200HP for the 2.0L 3S. More if you really go all out.

isnt there a 3s-ge that game stock with 210hp? although i think it is very rare and will cost a ton of coin

yea i know they come in that range but i think they come stock with high compression 10.5:1 somethin like that

Yes but its a totally different engine with VVTi head.

The BEAMS 3S-GE? Yes and you'll need ECU wiring and everything else. Don't miss anything.

would i have to use my tranny or the one that comes with it
since it out of a mr2 i dont know that setup
