How much do you have to add?

A slightly heavier oil or engine oil formulated for high mileage cars may help temporarily but not much you can do permanently without new rings.

I agree with this dude, when i get a car that burns the oil i try Penrite HPR 15 and it usually either solves the problem or slows it, but probably an engine rebuild or replacement would be a good idea soon

fair enough..well i put a thicker oil in it and it doesn't seem to burn so much anymore...the only other thing i'm worried about is it blows black smoke when ever it revs over 3 grand but i'm gonna get it serviced it the next few weeks so hopefully it'll get fixed then...
