86 GTS, radio antenna
Hi, I have a new (to me) 86 GTS that has a broken antenna. When I turn on the radio, I hear the motor trying to raise the antenna, but it does not move., I am thinking that perhaps it is the actual antenna. Can I get a replacement for the actual antenna instead of having to buy the whole unit?

Re: 86 GTS, radio antenna
No. The antenna and motor are a single unit. However, if you hear the motor working, it might be stuck (mine was). Some Teflon/silicone spray might get it going again.
If you have to replace the whole unit, they aren't that bad - about $50 if I remember. |
