'88 Celica GT, blown Engine
My friend's celica engine caught fire the other day and is now sitting out in the yard doin nothing. Apparently it caught fire from the carborater. My main ? is if it is worth fixing up if I get it for free. New engine, new block, new everythin probably. But a decent project car I think to start wit, and if nothing else I sell it to a junk yard for $100.
I was also wonderin if anyone had any manuals and layout plans for it. |

Re: '88 Celica GT, blown Engine
You outta be able to pick up a used 3SFE engine for a couple hundred bucks. I've got the 88 Toyota manual I can burn to CD and mail to you if you want. That and a Haynes World will get you there - that's what I'm using for a complete engine R&R rebuild (first ever) and they work fine.
