Question She has a few problems.

I have an 86 gts, thats the 3sge, that I just rebuilt but she has a few problems. Her low end is a bit rough, also she idles rough. These problems where there before the rebuild and we though that it would fix it but I guess not. I thought it was a vacuum hose but now I'm not sure. Can anyone help me?

Re: She has a few problems.

Might be a TPS issue. Throttle Position Sensor = TPS.

Re: She has a few problems.

TPS, Air Valve, vacuum leak. Take your pick. But, can't rule out something messy down low (crank pulley/AC pulley worn-out rubber between two pulley sections, worn bearings, worn engine mounts, etc - although most of these will produce bad vibration at any speed, not just idle). My best suggestion is to get a hold of the BGB and start down the trouble-shooting pages in the EFI section. I have the '88 BGB as PDFs by chapter and can burn you a disc, if you want. I think most chapters are pretty much the same as long as you know the few differences between the 86-87 and 88-89 variations of the Gen 1 SGE. The EFI chapter is 15megs. I can email it to you if you have high-speed access and your ISP will allow a 15 meg file.
