86 celica gt motor swap

I am going to buy a 86 toyota celica gt.It will need a motor put in it.So can somebody tell me what kind of motor swap I can do?Right now it has a 2sfe or something like that.Thanks for any help.

You should be able to swap in a 3S-GE. Its the one that came in the 86' GT-S model. It has 135 hspwr @6000 rpm.

Its a 2.0L 3S-FE. Swap options: 2.0L 3S-GE, 2.2L 5S-FE, 2.0L 3S-GTE (Turbo). You'll need ECU and wiring harness for all of them. Tranny will bolt-on.

I've never heard of a 2se engine??? if its a 3sfe you don't need an ecu if your swapping in the 5sfe
